Oaks Park Adventures

Yesterday, I was invited to dance with the company dancers from my dance studio. They are in middle school and high school and I am going to be in 3rd grade so it was a big deal.

I did three dances with 4 other girls from my ballet class. Hawaiian Roller Coaster, Supernatural, and I'm in Love with a Monster. I think it went very well.

Afterwards, I went on the Tilt-a-Whirl. I did not like it. I got sick. I didn't throw up but my tummy felt a little swirled around. Most of the other rides were good. My favorites were Big Pink, Frog Hop and The Motorcycles. The roller coaster was not a baby roller coaster. It was jerky.

After we did the rides, we went to dinner. We made funny jokes and we laughed a lot. We had a contest to see to could not laugh the longest. I had Scooby Snacks which are mini corn dogs.

I can say that I am glad I had this experience!

I had a day off from school so Mama and I went to EZ Orchards.  I ate doughnuts and had cider. 

 I took pictures with Mama's camera.

Tea Party Time

Having a tea party is so fun! The tea is amazing. The party is so calm but also fancy. We haven't done a tea party in awhile, so I decided to do one today. I hope you like this blog post. Please comment if you want to.

I painted pictures of a story and then told my story. It is an adventure story. I hope you like it very much. 

The Snowman Dance

I was very excited to do The Snowman Dance.  I did four dances and they were: Santa's Helpers, Snowbunnies, Gingerbread, and a Penguin.  My favorite was the Snowbunnies which was in ballet.  Ballet is my favorite because I can really expresses who I am.  I might be a ballet teacher or a doctor. 

When I get older I am going to do bigger stories with bigger lines and different movements.  

We went to the museum!

My mama and I went to a museum today and it was great!  My favorite part was the sculpture of the cute little kitties.  We saw paintings, sculptures. plates, baskets, jewelry from all over the world. 

I went to a real museum.  I am standing underneath the name of the museum.

The people that made this used the stuff they had around them to get
the things done that needed to get done.  Can you believe it?

The artist made this big of a plate.  I can't believe how big the artist made it.
 Good job artist! 

This is a ladle.  This is what the Native Americans used to scoop things.  

This is a necklace they wear around their neck.
They would wear it for ceremonies to celebrate things.
 They cut up clam shells into tiny little circles and made necklaces.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post and seeing the things we could take pictures of. There were many things we could not take pictures.  One of the things was a wood sculpture that was four little kitties.

Fancy Nancy and the Fabulous Fashion Boutique by Jane O'Connor: It's a good book!

I love Fancy Nancy books because they are so cool. In this Fancy Nancy book she has a boutique so she could get money for a lace fan.  She didn't get enough because she had to help her sister. But in the end she got a fan from her parents. I just love all Fancy Nancy books!  I think people that like fancy things and have been to the Fancy Nancy show would love this book!
